Preschool at the Spotted Zebra Learning Center

Knowing that a quality preschool program leads to school success, classrooms are small and staff highly qualified - a licensed teacher leads each classroom. The Spotted Zebra Learning Center is inclusive of all children and includes programs for preschoolers with disabilities. Thus a Speech and Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist and an Occupational Therapist are on site to assist in the areas of speech and language, fine motor and gross motor skill development for all children.

Preschool options are varied for families - part-time and full-time.  So whatever fits your family's needs, the Spotted Zebra Learning Center can provide it.

The Curriculum……………………

The Spotted Zebra Learning Center has carefully selected a preschool curriculum that is thoughtfully planned, challenging, engaging, developmentally appropriate, culturally and linguistically responsive, comprehensive and likely to promote positive outcomes for all children.The Creative Curriculum® is a comprehensive curriculum that addresses all content areas of the early learning standards- literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts and technology - as well as guides the classroom teachers in designing a preschool program that provides children with the foundation skills they need to support their cognitive, language, social and physical development. Unlike no other preschool locally, the Spotted Zebra Learning Center offers families a chance to monitor their child's progress with bi annual assessments and through the collection of data and anecdotal information. Parents now have a way to stay connected and in touch with their child and the classroom!

Curious Kids at Spotted Zebra and Afternoon Enrichment………

For preschoolers who remain all day at the Spotted Zebra Learning Center, the afternoons are a special time to add enrichment to their day. Special activities in the classrooms extend the daily curriculum and provide social experiences with friends.

Furthermore, knowing that in today's world families are busy and often on the run, the Spotted Zebra Learning Center makes it easier for parents to access specialized programs that encourage a child's development and growth. Every six weeks, parents will have the option to choose an enriched program for their child. Classes take place between 3:30 and 4:15, daily.
