After researching many schools in the area,the decision to join the Spotted Zebra Learning Center was hands-down the only option worth considering. The staffing ratios, environment, and educational program were just a few of the top selling points. Once we got into the school, we learned that not only is this the best educational environment, but with the caring staff members, it was the most nurturing one as well. By raising the standard on staff requirements, they have helped to eliminate the turnover that most daycare facilities regularly deal with, which in turn, helps provide our kids with a stable learning environment. The addition of Enrichment Programs helps to expose our son to different activities that he normally wouldn't have access to i.e. Karate, Cartwheels for Kids, Cooking etc.
We couldn't be happier with our decision, and highly recommend the school to anyone with kids.

I smile every day I drop the children at Spotted Zebra. It starts as soon as we walk in the door when each child is greeted by a teacher who gets down on their knees to check in with the child. The classrooms are bright, cheery and full of happy children. There is always something new in the sensory table and classroom projects on all of the walls. Most importantly, my children smile, give me a hug and run off to join the other children…they are safe, happy and secure.
When we were looking for a pre-school, our goal was to find a place where the children would encounter a positive and fun learning experience. We felt it was very important that our children learn but also enjoy the experience of learning. It was also important for us to find teachers and staff that we trusted to participate in developing our children’s values, social skills, independence and self image. Spotted Zebra met all of our criteria. We love Spotted Zebra and our children love Spotted Zebra!

 As a mother who has a child with Aspergers it was hard for me to trust my children in someone elses care; but the Spotted Zebra Learning Center made it easy for me. The very first day at the Spotted Zebra, my sons Alex and Tommie walked in and started to play with the other children. Everyday they were eager to go in to see their teachers Chris and Valerie. The staff writes you a note every day sharing with you what your child has done and any concerns they might have. The staff is very caring towards the children, informing you on your childs progress and making any suggestions, if necessary. Alex needed some services because of his diagnosis of Aspergers; so a team of professionals from the Spotted Zebra helped me to advocate services to help Alex.
I will be moving to Arizona soon and will miss the staff at the Spotted Zebra Learning Center. I recommend the Spotted Zebra to everyone. Thanks for taking such wonderful care of my children!

Spotted Zebra is truly one of the best enriching early learning environments for preschoolers in the capital region if not the state. We looked around the region to find a learning center for our daughter Allison to learn and prepare for kindergarten but also feel comfortable and be able to play. Spotted Zebra's it. The director, teachers, therapists, teacher aides, everyone makes this place the perfect fit for young children. Our child goes on more field trips than I can mention in this testimonial. The staff members are dedicated, caring people without whom this excellent program would not be what it is today.
Another aspect of the school that we find rewarding is its inclusiveness and diversity along with its ease at keeping the focus on what's important: our kids. This is to say that the Spotted Zebra staff members help children at all developmental levels and abilities to reach their full potential. The director consults with local higher education experts to ensure that the school meets the education standards for pre-school level learning (in my opinion, they exceed them).
Today marks a sad day as our daughter graduated from the Spotted Zebra, but she'll carry with her memories and (hopefully) friendships that will last a lifetime. Our warmest thanks to Sheri and the Spotted Zebra family!
